You’ve picked out a brand-new air conditioning system and you are ready to start the installation. So, what will you encounter at the installation appointment?
First, there is some prep work you can do ahead of time to assist with the installation process. Make sure the area where the air conditioning system will be situated is clear. This includes an open path so the installers don’t experience obstacles when moving the equipment to the final spot. This includes clearing the space of any tools, toys, sticks and leaves.
If you have pets, make sure they are in a kennel, crate or put in a separate area to be sure it’s a safe environment for the technician and your pet.
One benefit of working with Appalachian Heating on your air conditioning installation is that our technicians will take the time to walk you through your new system. It’s recommended that you ask as many questions as you want during the installation. We understand how great of an investment this is and how key the air conditioner is to your home comfort. Once the system is installed, the technician will perform testing to make sure it’s operating correctly. We’ll share all the features of your new system and offer recommendations on how to reach the optimum efficiency.
While the technician will go over the features, we advocate that you take the time to review the owner’s manual to become more familiar with your heating and cooling system. And place your manual in a safe place for future reference.
We’re always here for you, whether you have questions about your air conditioner after it has been installed or you simply need to schedule routine maintenance to make sure it continues to run properly–you can count on us.
